Care Instructions - CRYSTALS
You can rinse crystals with lukewarm water. However, keep in mind that there are some crystals that are not water-safe. Delicate or porous crystals, such as Selenite or Malachite, should not be immersed in water. Instead, use a dry or slightly damp cloth to clean them.
There are a few times that crystals need deeper cleansing.
When should you cleanse your crystals?
- When you first purchase your crystals and bring them home. You want them clean of all energies they might have picked up!
- When you’re going through intense or difficult times.
- Ideally, you should cleanse them on a regular basis - once a month.
How to cleanse your crystals!
- Put them outside or on a windowsill on a full moon to recharge.
- Use the rain as a way to cleanse them with water, or soak them in a bowl of salt water. Remember there are crystals that don't love water!
- Smudge them with a sage stick. If you don’t have any handy, use a candle.
- Bury them underground for 24 hours. This allows the earth to absorb any unwanted energy and refresh the crystals.
- Use a cleansing crystal. For example, you can lay your crystals on a selenite tower, and the selenite can clear the energy of the other crystals.
